Painting the Bean

On Wednesday night, I did another FUN canvas event with Paint Nite.  Here is the sample we were making:

These bright colors would be a fabulous addition to my cube, so I was in!  This event was at Fox and Hound this time.  It was the first time I was there, and I was a fan!  I ordered my Angry Orchard, got my paint, and I was all ready to go:

I was a little hungry, so I decided to order some nachos, and I could NOT believe what came out:

Those things were the size of my head! I could not believe how giant they were, nor could I figure out a way to tackle them.  Alas, I overcame, and they were yummy!
Now it was time to get down to business.  I made sky, mixed colors to make green and purple to paint  buildings around a bean outline.

Then it was time to make a bean:

And finally, color the reflections in the bean, paint the ground, and fill in the sky.  And this is what I came out with:

This will look awesome in my cube!  I'm almost excited to go to work when it's not raining or snowing, so I can bring it in and hang it up.
Tomorrow, I get to go make this with Wine & Canvas, the last one at Village for the summer:
