Today, yours truly is hosting a new WTUI Challenge. Today I am challenging you to give back. Today's challenge is to donate your card to a charity organization in need of cards. There are tons of organizations that collect, and each one has its own rules, so your only challenge is to SEND your card there. For my card today, I will be supporting Operation Quiet Comfort.
My card is digital and not watermarked, so that you can print it and send some yourself.
And I totally forgot to show you my card from the last WTUI challenge I did to use Cork, so here it is two weeks late (*blush*):
I used LOTS of fun stuff on this one! First of all, I'm addicted to these polka dotted Lawn Fawn cards. I used them on my Mothers' Day cards, and I'm sure this won't be the last one you see any time soon. They aren't quite A2, but I just love those polka dots! I used one of my new Teresa Collins stencils with Prima ink in pink. It's a film strip that I embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder by SU! to give it a little shimmer for this special birthday. I colored a Splash of Color butterfly with Sparkling H2Os. I was able to actually grab the shimmer in a photo for the first time ever! I cut a fun camera from self-adhesive cork with my MFT camera set die. I then added added some cup cake ribbon and a FUN sentiment from Creative Vision Stamps. You can see the dimension of it all and the sentiment a little better on this photo:
And, wait for it... I decorated the inside!
You can see the filmstrip stencil by Teresa Collins better on the inside, and the rest of the hysterical sentiment from Creative Vision Stamps called Another Candle. The recipient of the card was with me when I bought the sentiment, so of course, I had to use it on her card!
Sorry for the delay in showing you this card, but better late than never, right? :)
