I'm officially DONE with this roller coaster weather going on here. I sure hope I'm not getting sick, just sick of the weather. I guess that's what keeps encouraging me to use bright colors. Today's challenge was to use a map. I used a bunch of different things on this collage card.
I took a piece of Happy Travels patterned paper from Glitz Design and tore one side. I stamped a compass rose in Distress Ink on the map, but you can't really see much of it in this photo.
I then took tissue paper printed with text by Canvas Corp and colored it with two 50's Diner gelatos by Faber-Castell. I blended the gelatos with a baby wipe. I then tore a few edges of the tissue and pasted it down with 1/8" score tape by Scor-Pal.
I took a stencil that I got years ago at Taylored Expressions and used my Copic airbrush system with an E57 marker.
I then took a tag from Canvas Corp and covered it with a scrap of the map paper and tissue. Finally, I took a piece of calendar paper tape to cover the top of the tag. I stamped "America the beautiful" from an a.muse set with Distress Ink on the tag and popped it up on the card.
This card has so much stuff going on... it's pretty fun in real life! This is my first collage card, and I think I have a few ideas for next time.
Have a great hump day!
