It's World Card Making Day!

Welcome to World Card Making Day! Today, we are holiday hopping for Operation Write Home.  Why would we holiday hop so early?? Well, because Christmas cards are DUE October 31!  Yeah, they've gotta box them up and get them on their way.  Hopefully, you'll send some much-needed card LOVE to our troops.  Before you start creating, make sure to check the RULES, so your beautiful creations bring smiles.
Without further ado, I give you my holiday hop card:
I used this ADORABLE image by Heather Ellis, printed him on watercolor paper, and colored him with Distress Stains.
Today, also begins the Hope You Can Cling To challenges on SCS.  So I have another version - Mrs. Snowman, who is VERY sparkly and ready to PARTY down in Texas for another very worthy cause!

Thanks for stopping by on the LOOONG list of hoppers today... HAVE FUN!

I like the textured white background, love that you used watercolor paper for the stamped image (which is adorable) and that you've created a watercolor effect, too!

Both the texture of the watercolor paper and the coloring/painting of the image itself give this card such a nice focal point. Nicely framed in the black too. Thanks for supporting OWH!

Using the watercolor paper is great! It makes it look cold and stormy. I'm going to have to try this! TFS!

I have pearls like that and haven't used them. Thanks for the inspiration.

Your watercolor work makes these cards little individual works of art for someone to receive! Great job.
