With Sympathy

Today's card was purpose-driven, unfortunately.  A friend of the family passed away after a life-long battle with diabetes and complications from the disease.
I used, what I'm calling, digital paper piecing for the heart on this project where I replaced the black stamp lines with patterned paper.  I used the FREE Robyn digital papers for the heart and the bottom stripe.
I will add this to Paula-Kay's paper piecing gallery on DDH, along with the following challenges:
Creative Inspiration - use a digi
CES Challenges - spring colors
Card Makin Mamas - spring colors
Phindy's Place - paper piecing
