Papertrey October Blog Hop Challenge

Today, I decided to play along with the Papertrey Blog Hop.  I don't have enough Papertrey stuff (yet) to be able to make an entire card with Papertrey stuff, but I'm getting there!  The challenge was to do a card for a different winter holiday.  Well, I didn't have those stamps, so I decided to make a hot coffee/tea card, which is ALWAYS something I like in the winter.  This particular card is for the Sketch with a Twist challenge for hope, but a duplicate will be going to my Aunt.  The twist for the card was that it had to be dance-themed, well, once again, no dance stuff here (TRUST ME on that!).  But, I cannot even walk, let alone dance without my coffee, so this is the pre-dance warm up cup!  Ok, now back to my aunt... her birthday is December 26, so I decided to make her a birthday card that, in no way, looked like a Christmas card.  I think she'll appreciate that, so that is my winter holiday!

Aw, how nice is that! I've always wondered if people who had Christmas (or any!) Holiday birthdays would rather their birthday be celebrated with no christmas themed things.

I think after a while, you get sick of it... it loses its charm. :)

Who wold have known that you would have coffee and tea drinks on a blog called "Caffeine and Stamps"???? Haha! Love your cute card and I'm sure your aunt will love it. My birthday is Dec. 20th and I know all about getting Christmas themed cards and paper on my birthday!
