Copic Class Projects + TESC 129

At a semi-local scrapbook store (45-min drive), they had Copic 101 and Copic 201 classes, one last weekend, and one this past weekend. I took both. Damn you Melissa Sauls and Sankari Wegman for getting me addicted to these little things! What I'm going to share with you today are card we made at these two classes. I don't know most of the supplies, since they weren't mine, so I apologize for that.
The first 2 cards were made in the 101 class where we learned the basics of blending with circles and feathering.
These next two cards were for the 201 class where we first learned to color skin, then color hair, and finally how to "color white". We also got to play with the airbrush tool.
This little girl (definitely going to come up with a name for her!) is made by Hero Arts, and I had to purchase that stamp, so you'll see her more as soon as I can find an E50 marker... apparently, those things are hard to come by in the Chicago area! I tried a bunch of skin/hair Copic combinations, and here are the ones I decided worked the best...
skin: E50 + E51 + E01 for every so slightly rosy cheeks
hair: E25, E33, and E51 (that's what she has below); E11, E15, and E25 makes a nice auburn hair color.
This last card is also a Hero Arts stamp, and for this card, we were learning how to color the "white" area. We were supposed to use gray, but that just looked horrid to me, so I re-did it with blue instead. I think I would like the B0000 for this technique. I used B000 and B00, which looks a little dark. When I got home, I decided to re-do this card to make an entry for Taylor's sketch. The button was colored using the airbrush tool... that thing is SO on my Christmas list (yes, I already have one!).
The ribbon is new from Maya Road that I got at the store where I took my class. I got a bunch of them... wow Maya has some awesome ribbons! Oh well, I've gotta get to work... have a great day!
