Boo Boo Anniversary Card

I was inspired by Allison's card, who was inspired by this card on SCS, to make an anniversary card for my parents. I really should have had more coffee before I started, because there are a few goofs in this card, but I actually like them that way. So to not be a complete copy cat, I used an oval instead of a rectangle. I used by oval nestabilities as the template, and I sponged a touch outside the lines, but it kind-of gives it a shadow effect, which I thought was cool (maybe I'm just making myself feel better for my laziness). I used the same sponge I did two days ago for the sympathy card, and for some reason, there was still some Cherry Cobbler on the sponge. Seriously wouldn't that have dried out - come on now! But, again, I liked the look, so it stayed. For those of you who don't know, I am NOT a sponge-lover, so two cards using sponging is something HUGE. I really like the look and have vowed to use it more, and obviously, I need practice! Ok, the last boo boo on the card - the leaves on the stamp. Those are supposed to be Always Artichoke, and I did use that colored marker, but I inked the whole stamp with Cherry Cobbler first. So, I have Stampin' Up!'s secret - Cherry Cobbler + Always Artichoke = Soft Suede. HA! I like the brown leaves - adds to the vintage look I was going for (again, something I need practice on!). In order to wrap the ribbon around for the stay-put bow, I cut a slit in the crease of the card. The rest, I think you can figure out. In any event, hope you like my boo boo card...
