One More Latte Video

Apparently, it would only let me put one video at a time in the blog, so here's a more recent one of Latte. She's terrorizing her litter mate, Nugget (black collar) and Fi Fi (yellow collar). She's the one with blue collar with a purple one looped over it (two collars). Such a pistol!

More Latte Stuff....

Since the movers come tomorrow to get everything, this might be my last post for a bit.

Here are ALL the photos thus far...

And now that Blogger will take videos, you can see them too!!!
Here is one of Tiny Latte...

If that wasn't enough puppy fun for you, check out Dawn (the breeder)'s site for one more where Latte picks a fight with Fi Fi. :) One more video.

The House!

This is the house! We closed August 1st, and my poor poor sweetie has been slaving away all by himself to get it respectable after being vacant for almost 9 months. There were a million weeds that needed to go, the grass needed a good trimming, and the garage door HAD to be installed. And that was just the outside... We had to do something with some of the colors on the walls inside, too. For example, the spare bath upstairs was a Pixie Pink color. And that just could NOT stay! My stamp room... yes, I said stamp room!... had the same color polka dots on yellow walls. I'm all for creativity; I stamp, come on now, but NOT bright pink polka dots on my walls... The picture to the left is my stamp room with primer... this wall will be a nice Certainly Celery color to accent the Barely Banana walls. You see my stamps in their new home???? Look closely... they're on the shelf in the closet!!! Woo hoo!!!! Since my stamps are in Illinois, and I'm in California, there will not be many creative posts in the coming weeks, but I'll be updating the move progress, so stay tuned!
I will also be updating my new Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Business Website, which will be going through a MAJOR overhaul in the coming months. Check it out!

Post-Convention Inspiration

Ok, so Convention was a BLAST, and I wanted to stamp right then and there, but of course, I had to wait (*pout!*). But I was afforded with a TON of things that I *had* to get done this weekend. The first of which was my friend, Krystal's, birthday present. Of course I had to use Convention make-and-take inspiration for it... I used an Accents & Elements tin and embellished it. Krystal likes blues and greens, so I choose some of the retired papers (Notations & Sarah) that were her favorites. Big moment in my life - I mixed prints!!!! Ok, all better now... If you notice the middle of the flower to the upper left of the "k", you'll see that there are micro beads on there. How did they get there, you ask? It's so simple, you're going to scream... it's a pop dot covered in micro beads. No joke! That was HUGE wow for me at convention... I know, I'm a bit slow, but it looked SUPER CUTE, don't you think?? I took my *BRAND NEW* Crop-a-dile and punched holes in the top of the box (it goes through like butter!) and threaded the ribbon to make the purse. By the way, she LOVED it!
Moving on to the next project... oh how punny I am... As you know, we are moving to Illinois next month, and I wanted to pass out little cards to say our new address and such. So, enter the Love Note! I used the Vintage Violet note cards from like 3 mini catalogs ago (no sense moving retired product, right?). I used the compass-printed paper from Notations. The images are from On the Move stamp set (retired last catty, but *had* to have it for the move!). They are stamped in black StazOn and watercolored with watercolor pencils. I decided to keep these quite simple (and EASY) to mass-produce them quickly. Additionally, for Bernadine's monthly ATC swap, I kept with the moving theme... these have been sitting ready to send to her for the past 2 months now... oops! Anyway, again, I stamped in StazOn and watercolored; this time I used the Watercolor Wonder Crayons in Ruby Red. I also swapped these at Convention, so they might look familiar to a few of you out there.
Last, but certainly NOT least, are my FABULOUS football ATCs. But they aren't just *any* football... they're Notre Dame Fighting Irish football ATCs!!!! The day we move is the opening home game for Notre Dame football. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a bit of a fan... ND's colors are navy blue and gold, and their helmets are strictly gold (just like the stamped image). I stamped with VersaMark on Very Vanilla (football just doesn't lend itself to white IMO) and embossed them with gold embossing powder. I painstakingly cut each and every one out, then mounted them on a randomly-stamped field of footballs. The lettered sayings are also gold-embossed VersaMark on Night of Navy. The word window punched tag is held on with Sahara Sand eyelets (set with my Crop-a-Dile, of course!). These are for Bernadine's swap, also, so August's and September's ATCs are in the mail! YEAH ME!!!
I do have a few extra DVDs of Convention pictures. I will be charging $10, which includes postage and a super-cute and easy paper DVD holder (if I do say so myself). Perhaps, my next post should be a tutorial... never done one of those... hmmm.... Until next time....
