Three More Challenges

I was up WAY too early this morning... why?? I have NO IDEA!! But, I decided to stamp. Before I share the cards, I have to share this photo of the kids romping in the snow yesterday... it was TOO FUNNY. They couldn't go out to play once it turned to freezing rain, though. :(

Next, Linda - I still need your address!!! Please send it, so I can get your prize to you. No one has yet to guess the technique I will be presenting next Monday when I guest host the Try a New Technique Challenge on SCS. There is still time to get make your guess and get the prize! Post a comment with the technique here. For a hint - check out my video on the stay put bow.
Ok, now to 4AM stamping stuff...
This card was for the Bella Color Challenge # 5 to use Real Red and Barely Banana. I added a bit of pizazz with the Taken with Teal accents. Well, I think so, at least. This Bella was a stamped image I received from my Secret Sister... LOVE HER!!!! To my knowledge, this is the first time I have ever colored an image with markers. It's definitely the first time I've done that for a Bella.
Stamp: Grumpybella (AKA me prior to coffee!)
Ink: Jet Black StazOn (I think that's what she used)
Paper: Barely Banana, Real Red, Taken with Teal, Whisper White, Le Jardin DSP
Accessories: Ticket corner punch, Prima Flowers, Barely Banana brads, Stampin' Write Markers (Real Red, Barely Banana, Taken with Teal, Creamy Caramel, Really Rust)

This next card was a new challenge I tried. Being up at 4Am, I had a little extra time to kill. This challenge is based on a Featured Stamper, who was CuttersCallous this week. How it works - you check out the featured stamper's gallery and pick a card that inspires you and re-create it, only you have to change at least 2 things. The card I chose was Figgy Snowman. I didn't have the images or the paper she used, so I needed to change those. The paper I had that was close to hers required I change the color scheme, as well.
Stamp Sets: Fun & Fast Notes, Tags On Board
Ink: Basic Gray (of course!)
Paper: Sage Shadow, Kraft, Whisper White, Wintergreen DSP
Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons (Garden Green, Summer Sun, Close to Cocoa), Key Tag punch, Crystal Stickers Pearls, Kraft Taffeta ribbon
Some folks have asked about the Crystal Stickers I keep talking about. They're made by Mark Richards. You can see some of them HERE. I purchased mine at Archivers (go figure!), but there are plenty of places that sell them. A Cherry On Top has a pretty large selection. Hope that helps!

The last card I have for you is from another new challenge. This challenge gives you something for inspiration, and you create whatever you "see". This week's challenge was to use this piece of Paper Studio wrapping paper and come up with [whatever]. I came up with a 3x3 card using paper piecing. It's yucky outside, so I was trying to be chipper on the inside. The holiday colors were working for me, but the mittens and cold insinuations so were NOT working for me!
Stamp Set: Time Well Spent
Ink: Basic Gray (did you need to ask??!!)
Paper: Ballet Blue, Whisper White, Dashing DSP
Accessories: Prima Flowers (and leaves, too), Silver brad, Crystal Stickers Pearls, White grosgrain tied in a stay put bow (this was the 3x3 card made in the video for the stay put bow)
I think I'm either headed to Starbucks or back to bed... if the roads are still icy - bed it is! Until tomorrow...
