Mini VSN and Some Challenges

While I haven't been "chatty", I *have* been stamping! The first two projects are for SCS's mini-Virtual Stamp Night. The first one is called I Feel Pretty, where you are to draw inspiration for your project from this beautiful dress (picture in the post). When I saw it, I immediately thought of a Paris shopping trip. And who better to lead said shopping trip than Arivadercibella?! The dress looked like Le Jardin paper, so of course, I used that. The rest of the colors were drawn from the dress. Check out the challenge... it's a SUPER beautiful dress!!!

Stamps: Arivadercibella, Hero Arts International Postage, Tagger's Dozen
Ink: Not Quite Navy, Silver Encore
Paper: Barely Banana, Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla, Almost Amethyst, Le Jardin DSP
Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayon (Not Quite Navy), Stampin' Write Markers (Creamy Caramel, Really Rust, Blush Blossom), Crystal Stickers Pearls

This altered paint can is for the Pampering Paint Can Challenge. This paint can was found at Home Depot, on recommendation of my sweetie! Yes, they DO have empty paint cans. This pint-sized one was less than $2!!

Stamp Sets: Espress Yourself, What's Brewin'
Ink: Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa
Paper: Rebecca DSP, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Accessories: Stampin' Write Markers (Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Close to Cocoa), Prima flowers, Hero Arts' Gemstones, Chocolate Satin ribbon, Regal Rose wide grosgrain ribbon, Michael's patterned ribbon, Crimper
Cutting Tools: Coluzzle (to cut the circle for the center), Corner Rounder punch (to scallop the center), Marvy Giga Scalloped Circle punch, Slot punch
The two large flowers on the lid were colored using markers.

This next project is for one of my days of Christmas projects... two pens with a jumbo paper clip bookmark. If you've never done a beaded pen before, they are SUPER easy and WAY cute! Check out this tutorial, and you'll be all set! If you'd like me to do a video on this, let me know, and I'll be happy to star in a special production just for you! :)

Paper: Dashing DSP & Cutie Pie DSP
Accessories (pens): Microbeads, Sticky Strip
Accessories (paper clip): On Board Flowers, Glue stick, Crystal Effects (to bind it together)

This next project was a challenge combo again... it fulfilled the Ways to Use It challenge to Tape It Up, as well as this week's sketch challenge # 153.

Stamp Set: Fun & Fast Notes
Ink: Basic Gray
Paper: Basic Gray, River Rock, Very Vanilla, Dashing DSP
Accessories: Coluzzle, Sticky Strip with Stirling Silver glitter (my tape), Watercolor Wonder Crayons (Lovely Lilac, Regal Rose, Old Olive), Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, Hero Arts' Gemstones

The last project for you today is another for my 12 Days of Christmas project blitz. It's an origami box with matching bow. These two were made with Dashing DSP.
Tomorrow morning, I host the Try a New Technique Challenge, so make sure you check it out!
