I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas....

So, we got about 6" of snow last night. It sure is beautiful, especially when I don't have to go outside in it! :) The furry kids absolutely LOVE the snow (odd!)!!!! Here is Gandy in his Sphinx pose in the snow. Latte wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a picture, and she can't lie down in it where I can see her head.

After the kids' romp in the snow, I paid my dues to the US Postal Service to mail ALL of my Christmas cards and packages. There are 2 packages and 1 card that still need to go out, but 1 package and 1 card are waiting on addresses. The last package is waiting on this weekend's photo opportunity with Santa Paws. But, I'm calling myself DONE with Christmas... all the presents are wrapped and under the tree or at the post office.
Now, as promised, here are the tile coasters that I made for the Try a New Technique Challenge # 145. This first set is for my fiance. I used Hero Arts' international postage stamps. They were SUPER easy... lucky for me, both of the sets I made were for guys who like things clean and simple.

The next set is for my father, a retired Army warrant officer (guess where I got my idea to go in the military??). I used a variety of patriotic stamps that I'd collected over the years.

Well, I'm going to enjoy my cup of hot cocoa and start a fire. Two reminders before I sign off... Saturday starts the 12 Days of Christmas, and Monday I'm hosting the Try a New Technique Challenge (still time to win your prize by guessing the technique!)... Until later...
