Stamp a Stack Christmas Card

Today's Demo Challenge on SCS was to create a card for a Holiday Stamp a Stack. For those of you who don't know, a Stamp a Stack is just what you might think it sounds like - you come and stamp a stack of cards all the same. Usually, they're birthday cards, thank you cards, or Christmas cards. This is the card that I'm going to try to hold my Stamp a Stack around this year. This card is super simple, but very elegant (IMO). For those of you who despise using Whisper White for its SLOW drying time, try the TEXTURED card stock... it's dry time is next to nothing. HTH!

Stamp Set: Solemn Stillness
Ink: Night of Navy, Encore Silver
Paper: Night of Navy, Real Red Textured, Whisper White Textured
Accessories: Real Red narrow grosgrain
This card also uses the stay put ribbon technique... I AM working on this tutorial for you!

Yesterday, I jumped on the Scalloped Circle ornament band wagon. OMG are these SO SIMPLE to make! They turn out super cute (again, IMO). The first one I did used Soft Sky Prints Designer Series Paper. You just cut 8 Scalloped Circles + 12" of cord (I used Silver elastic) + beads of your choice. You just fold the scalloped circles in half and tape the "wrong" sides together. Use a strip of Sticky Strip to lock the cord in place, close the last circle, and you're DONE. You can embellish it with beads or glitter or whatever you like!

Paper: Soft Sky Prints DSP
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, Silver elastic cord, beads

I got to thinking... I bet I could use photos instead of just paper, so I did! I took 8 photos of my furry kids (of course!) and shrunk them down. I used Power Point to save paper and just put all the photos on one page. I had to make the photos around 2" x 3" to get it to work with the Scalloped Circle Punch. I think I might have to check out one of the large Marvy punches to make my photos larger. I printed my photos on Whisper White CS. The photo paper, I thought, wouldn't bend really well. In any event, enjoy!

Paper: Whisper White
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, Purely Pomegranate Double-Stitched grosgrain
