Happy Halloween

First of all, let me give you a HUGE

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!
OK, now to my stampin' stuff... I have been CRAZY busy trying to get ready for Halloween in my new neighborhood. It hit me in the middle of Convention this year, that I'll HAVE trick-or-treaters this year. In California, at least where I lived, everyone went to the mall to trick-or-treat. I had *maybe* 3 doorbell rings for Halloween. Most folks aren't home yet during the "approved time" for trick-or-treating beca
use they're commuting 90 minutes each way... enter the mall... ANYWAY... My Mom always made special things for the neighborhood kids when I was young, so I did the same this year. Plus, it gets the word out about my stampin' skills. ;) The 32 bags filled with full-size candy bars and a few smaller ones for some variety (gotta make a good impression the first go around, right?) are decorated with a little tag that the parents can use to scrapbook Halloween.
The tag is a 3.5" square of lightweight chipboard (the stuff that comes in the DSP paper packs). I used glue stick to attach the Creepy Crawly DSP to it, then used the corner rounder to the sides. The Batty For You sentiment is stamped with Jet Black StazOn on Lovely Lilac cardstock, punched out with the 1 3/8" circle punch, then adhered to a scallop punched piece of textured Basic Black card stock. I punched 2 holes in the tag and the bag with my Crop-a-Dile and attached the tag with four different Halloween-themed ribbon that I got at WalMart.

But these aren't ALL the stamping I've been doing... last week (and this week), I did some of Splitcoast's weekly challenges. The 3x3's I posted last time were one of them - the color combo. The following cards are for the rest of the challenges I participated in...
Limited Supplies Challenge # 139 - no sentiments, just numbers on the front

This was my FIRST EVER attempt at cracked glass, and I'm pretty happy with how this turned out. It was super easy after I actually opened my container of Glassy Glaze Enamel that I *had* to have immediately after Convention *blush*. Not sure what Cracked Glass is??? Check out THIS TUTORIAL... it's VERY easy to follow! I realized that I used the sketch challenge layout this time, too... hmmmm... guess I like that sketch...

Well, I'm off to do TODAY's sketch challenge... Heidi tagged me yesterday, so I've gotta come up with 7 *odd* things about me... well, 7 that I can share, I guess.... Until next time...
