Busy Weekend

I've finally caught up on ALL of my 900 swaps that I volunteered myself for... oops! Here are 3 more that I did for a color swap. I let the hostess pick the colors for me to try to challenge me a bit. She gave me Pink Passion, which I NEVER use, so that was cool. For some reason, I immediately thought of the frog... no idea why pink made me think of a frog, but I think it turned out pretty cute.

The middle one was made at 4:30am when I couldn't sleep. I'm REALLY liking this one. I stamped the Canvas background in So Saffron ink on the So Saffron CS. I used the color coach to pick my colors because I don't use So Saffron that much. The color coach said to use Bordering Blue and Old Olive, so those were the markers I chose for the Heartfelt Thanks flower. It also said to use Close to Cocoa, so guess where the Word Window punch went... I LOVE THE COLOR COACH!!!

My last one was Vintage Violet. I really like this color paper, but the ink always looks black to me... I decided to do a little different things... I stamped the Background Basics dots on a strip of Pretty in Pink, and I really liked that! So, then the dots won, and I brought out the circle punches... I think this one turned out cute, too, as the card says! :)

I finally found the metal mailboxes, but not at Target - this one is from Michael's. I used some more Michael's items on this mailbox... The hearts are foam stickers. I used a Sharpie marker to write the name on there. Be careful, though, because that takes a minute to dry!! I got some glitter glue at the Target Dollar Spot, and I traced the little heart with that. The red glitter hearts are actually magnets from a Dollar Spot photo frame. The other side says "Happy Valentine's Day" with 2 more heart magnets. The ribbon is Stampin' Up!, but the rest is from Michael's and Target... I finally branched out!
