Stepper Box

So I guess I bit behind the times because this was the FIRST stepper box
I made... I know, I know, it was shown at convention 6 months ago, but I didn't go, and I'm just now getting around to making all the convention stuff. I used the Spring Flowers paper... I really like the look of the roughed up exterior. I think I will put some foam hearts or something on it for a Valentine's Day gift. And, of course, the candies go on the inside boxes!!

Reindeer Snack Mix
So, I took Reindeer Mix to the gathering on the 21st, and it was a BIG hit. I've been asked for the recipe, so here is what I did. I used the generic ingredients whenever possible.
2 1/4 cups cheese-flavored snack crackers
2 1/4 cups pretzels (any shape that's small)
1 cup Corn Chex
1 cup bite-sized shredded wheat
1 cup Planter's Deluxe Mixed Nuts (with almonds, pecans, and cashews only - this was my splurge)
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 1/2 tablespoons lite maple syrup
1 3/4 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons Mrs. Dash Southwestern Chipotle seasoning mix
1. Preheat oven to 250-degrees.
2. In a large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients (and I mean LARGE bowl).
3. In another bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients, and then pour it over the mix. I use my hands to mix it evenly (yes, I washed them!).
4. Pour mix into an ungreased baking pan (at least 15 x 10 x 1).
5. Bake (uncovered) at 250 for 1 hour. Make sure to stir ever 15 minutes!
Kate and Krystal - are you happy now?? :)

Thank-you so much, Krystal was excited when I showed her your recipe. We will definitely have to make for our next class. Thanks again.
