Sparkle Blossom

I'm a little proud of this card, so I had to brag on myself a bit today, since the photo does NOT do it justice! First of all, let me tell you why the flower looks fuzzy... it's actually striped. I inked the Big Blossom stamp with Regal Rose, then stamped the stripe from Background Sampler in Close to Cocoa. Then stamped the flower on Confetti White. Then, I used the smallest Coluzzle circle and cut a hole in the middle of the flower. I was going to use packing tape and glitter, but alas, I had no packing tape, so out came the Crystal Effects. I mounted the flower on a Close to Cocoa card, then filled the center hole with Crystal Effects. Since I wasn't using the packing tape, I decided to bust out the microbeads. So, then I thought I would outline the flower with the microbeads, as well... Add a little sparkle. It was raining yesterday, so I guess that's what inspired me to add some sparkle. I not-so-patiently waited for the Crystal Effects to dry, and then I stamped one of the sentiments from the Happy Harmony SAB set in Close to Cocoa. I thought it was missing a little something, so I decided on ribbon - my fall-back. I opted for Rose grosgrain, but it was missing something... I took a Q-Tip and inked the end in Chocolate Chip ink and stamped little dots along the ribbon, and attached it to the bottom of the card. Ta-da!
